I am SO excited to finally share Anu & David’s wedding film! There was so much anticipation leading up to Anu and David’s big day. For starters, they met all the way back in elementary school and started dating towards the end of high school, so a total of ELEVEN years together. That in itself leads to some major anticipation! But that’s not all that made me giddy in anticipation about their wedding day.

When I first spoke to Anu and David when they were booking us, they explained they were going to have two ceremonies, one Hindu and one Jewish, and they would have a Hindu celebration the day before. We created a custom package that consisted of coverage of the day prior, as well as a lengthier short film. I am so glad we were able to expand coverage to include so many more moments and events. Their wedding weekend EXCEEDED my greatest expectations…and here’s why!

First off, the wedding day took place at Tuckahoe Plantation, one of my all-time favorites for its history and beautiful gardens. The entire wedding was outdoors – the two ceremonies and the reception. No roof or tents, just beautiful summer foliage and bright, sunny skies. The Hindu ceremony started with the Baraat – the groom processional. David drove down the treelined driveway in an antique Rolls Royce, with dancers leading the group of family and friends. It was such a beautiful celebration that wowed the guests waiting at the ceremony site.

One of my favorite parts to the Hindu celebration were the outfits. The gorgeous bridesmaid dresses and Anu’s accessories were out of this world. They then had an outfit change after the Hindu ceremony to move into the Jewish ceremony, which was located in the crepe myrtle grove. They signed the Ketubah, shared about their story, and broke glass. It was such a joyous, beautiful ceremony!

I don’t think I had ever experienced a wedding that was so diverse. It was the most beautiful thing to see people come together and have such a happy, wonderful day together, even though they had never met. I think that in itself made for the most unique day we’ve ever had the chance to shoot, and I will never forget it! The entire celebration was such a unique expression of marriage, and it was truly a joy to put together the many pieces of their story into one film. I hope they forever can better remember the amazing day it was through their film!

We wish the best for the happy couple and can’t wait to see where the future brings them!

When I think back to Stacia and Josh’s wedding day, the word that continues to repeat in my mind is “peace”. There was so much peace that day – the family, friends, the vendor team, and especially the couple themselves. The weather was beautiful, the light was stunning, and everyone was in the best spirits to celebrate this beautiful couple.Stacia and Josh first met when one of Josh’s teammates invited Stacia and one of her friends over for dinner. It was a casual, laid back dinner, but after that night, Josh knew there was something special in Stacia that he couldn’t resist to know more about. That same set of friends would hang out almost every night that summer, until finally Stacia and Josh started dating officially in the fall!

Josh surprised Stacia on Thanksgiving morning when she was on a run with Josh’s sister. They were running through a trail when Josh’s sister ran over to see Josh, and when Stacia came closer, she found Josh bent on one knee!! I loved how intimate and sweet their proposal story was. Perfectly fitting for them!

The wedding day took place at Veritas Vineyard & Winery, where you’ll find the most gorgeous sunsets and breathtaking mountain views! It was such a romantic backdrop for their ceremony. They wrote personal vows to each other, which were SO beautiful and genuine. Just watch the video and see!

The reception was full of excitement with a special performance by Stacia’s cousin, Stacia and her dad’s dance (epic!), a polish dance lesson that included the entire crowd, and loads of fun dancing the rest of the night – under the amazing disco ball at Veritas!! We especially loved the fun lighting DJ Wes provided – it really added great atmosphere for the party!

We are so grateful to have been a part of such an amazing celebration, and wish the best to the newlyweds Stacia and Josh!!!!

The Williamsburg Inn Wedding Videography

Emma moved to England for a job, but little did she know that she would meet her husband there also! They met online through a dating app and the rest was history! After three years, Joe planned a trip to the Cotswolds at Broadway Tower, where he proposed! Can you imagine the beautiful setting?!

Their wedding took place at the Williamsburg Inn located in Colonial Williamsburg. Their wedding ceremony was at Emma’s childhood church – Bruton Parish Episcopal Church – just right down the street from the Inn. It was the most beautiful Episcopal service I’ve witnessed!! They had a horse and carriage drive them to the Inn after the ceremony, where they joined their cocktail hour at the Fountain Garden.

After the ceremony, there were heavy rains. Emma and Joe never had the slightest hesitance to go outside and enjoy the rest of their day (with umbrellas of course!). They were just SO joyful the entire day, no bit of rain could’ve gotten in the way of that! Their reception was so festive – Joe and some of his family even got up to play music with the band at the end of the night!

A month after their wedding in the states, they had an English reception where they premiered their wedding film! We were so thrilled they were able to share those memories with their friends and family across the globe. It was such an honor capturing their sweet day, and the happy celebration they had.

Congrats once again, Emma and Joe!
