Bolling Haxall House Wedding VideographyRichmond, Virginia

There’s truly nothing like filming two people genuinely in love on their wedding day. Their vows are so sweet I couldn’t hold back the tears while editing! They wanted to honor God on their wedding day; there couldn’t have been anything more beautiful to capture. If I could have described the day in two words it would have been (this may sound cheesy): magical and heavenly. There had been a lot of rain this past spring, but on their wedding day it was clear blue skies, and sunny with a breeze. How does that not sound heavenly?

We got to work alongside some amazing vendors including Jillian Michelle Photography who was fabulous to work with and had a great eye for shots! The day ran smoothly and stress free because of Taylor from Alyson Taylor Events. Brett and Kate really struck gold with choosing The Bolling Haxall House in Richmond, VA as their venue. This place is INCREDIBLE and loaded with antiques! The managers were extremely welcoming and joyful to be around. All in all, their wedding and marriage was definitely a magical thing to witness and create into a film. We will never forget it!

May 22, 2016Leighanne and Matthew | The Glasgow FarmA Wedding Film at The Glasgow Farm, Fredericksburg Virginia

Leighanne and I have been good friends for over 15 years. I still remember calling her when I was 8 years old to invite her over for a sleepover. We rode on go karts at The Glasgow Farm and became good friends that day! Little did I know that I would be shooting her wedding years later on that same property.

The day of their wedding was so peaceful. There was some lite rain in the beginning (which cleared up for taking photo/video!!), but overall it was such a serene morning wedding. Seeing one of your childhood friends getting married is so surreal! Life really does fly by so quickly. Though the day of the wedding was a quick one, I wanted to savor each moment for Leighanne and Matthew so they can remember it forever.
